Course Description
Aircraft Sheet Metal Structure Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Repair

Learn the technical skills to confidently enter the aviation industry as a sheet metal specialist. This course will teach job entry skills for aircraft structural design, blueprint reading, hardware identification and installation, fabrication, and repair. Build confidence in your ability to install blind and solid rivets, along with other aircraft hardware, used in the manufacture and repair of aircraft structures. You will develop the operational skill of the tools and equipment used in today's aircraft industry while you fabricate and repair components in an actual sheet metal shop in an aircraft hangar environment. You will learn how to work sheet metal as an individual and as part of a team. This course will prepare you to enter the aviation workforce ready to work for an airline, aircraft maintenance or overhaul facility, or an aircraft manufacturer.
