Enter the exciting world of emergency medicine by becoming an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)! Students will obtain a basic knowledge and skill set to provide care and transportation to the sick and injured. EMTs are a critical component of the comprehensive emergency medical system. EMTs function on protocols and act under a physician medical director outside of the hospital. This course is designed to prepare students to take the National Registry EMT Exam. This course is a fast-paced, online blended learning course. Students are responsible for ensuring access to a computer and reliable internet. Lab days are on campus every Friday.
