Course Description
CNA Skills Test

Skill Testing for CNA candidates who have completed their training and are ready to test. Skills tests are practice scenarios utilizing a real person as the resident. Candidates are required to successfully complete seven skills from the skills sheets listed at the link below, including hand washing and manual vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, respirations, and temperature). After successful completion of skills, students will still need to take their written exam. You will be called 2 days before your test to confirm your time slot. Cancellations must be made AT LEAST 2 days before your skills test date. REFUND REQUESTS MADE LESS THAN 48 HOURS WILL NOT BE GRANTED.

Clock Hours: 1.5

Prerequisites: Must have completed formal training as a CNA either through an approved program or through a long-term care facility utilizing the emergency training waiver.

Requirements: MUST bring valid photo ID, original proof of social security (card or W2), and original training verification form or letter from the Nurse Aide Registry. Must bring your own volunteer to be the resident. Volunteer must be over 18 and cannot work in the healthcare field.
